09:34 am - Breakfast time at Mattie's house!
I'm still drinking coffee, but I'm about to go start grating spuds for hashbrowns here in a moment.
I don't make breakfast everyday anymore. When the girls were still home I did. Bacon or sausage, eggs, toast, fruit, hashbrowns and juice were the norm. Hard working people need food in their bellies to do their work, and kids work hard at the job of playing and growing.
Besides, this morning the smell of bacon frying might actually be what it takes to get these two to wake up! It's already quite warm outside, and if we're going to go do anything, we need to get moving soon or it'll be too hot.
Wakey-wakey! Smell those hashbrowns frying and the bacon crisping? Hmmmm?
